This week’s guest a powerhouse. She commands a room. She is serious about her work and for the past 10 years, she has been focused on building an incredible brand in the music & entertainment industry.

Part of what I noticed during our very first conversation is her ability to be fully present with you. Despite her busy schedule, she finds a way to rest her mind and make sure that you know she cares.

This week's guest is Lola Plaku. The founder and CEO of Lola Media Group – a firm focused on artist management and brand development. She is also the founder of Girl Connected, a mentorship program for women looking to learn & build in the music industry.

Lola has been featured in many publications, most notably Variety.com, Forbes.com, Vice Canada, Elle Canada where journalists have shared her epic rise in this tough industry.

This episode is for you if:

  • You want to learn from one incredible artist & brand manager about what it's really like to work and build in the music business

  • You are a visionary and want to better understand how to create a strategy with action steps to make that vision a reality

  • You are a content creator and are focused on growing your audience (esp. in the entertainment industry)

You name 'em – Lola has probably worked with them. Because of the credible brand and intentional relationships that she has spent time nurturing, Lola has worked with many of our favourite artists, including: The Weekend, Belly, French Montana, Big Sean, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Kehlani, and many more! You can follow more of Lola's journey on Instagram.

If you are interested in the music business and want to learn from the best, make sure to apply to the Girl Connected Mentorship Program (GCMP). Applications are now open.
